How to create a lead record in Odoo CRM

Create leads

Odoo CRM provides a variety of options to be maintained in CRM lead form. Here you can mention different options which gives almost clear picture about lead.

You can view the existing leads and create new leads from


list view

In the above window you can view the list of leads created with column names “Creation Date”, “Subject”, “Customer Name”, etc.

We can create new lead from

Sales>Leads>Create Button

When you click on the create button. You will find the following form and you need to fill lead details in that form and save.

By clicking on the Schedule/Log Call button you can schedule/log a call.

Once you the lead gets qualified for the further process. You can convert that lead to “Opportunity” by clicking on the “Convert to Opportunity” button.


When you click on “Convert to Opportunity” button you will be able to see the following window:

Here you can link that lead to existing customer or you can create a new customer or don’t link to customer.
